I put all new hoses and a outrigger cylinder seals a couple years ago. Attachment is made by Bradco and easy to get parts for through NH dealer. I just don't use the backhoe attachment anymore and hate to see it sit. I have used the LS 180 for loading materials in the yard for the past 4 years. The good is the 3 cyl New Holland Motor -NOT the Iveco that is in the later models.
The engine runs great, doesnt use or burn oil. The hydraulics are fast and strong and loads our triaxle and ten wheeler. The bad- The parking brake does not work. The 2 speed does not work in high- at 7mph the low is fast enough. I believe it is only the two speed solenoid that is bad, but I never looked at. The wire for the blower motor for the heater is disconnected-simple fix-great heat- warms up the fastest of anything I have owned. I bugered the fins on the radiator with a pressure washer 10 years ago, (see pic) but it does not affect the cooling. I get a small drip of hydraulic oil from one of the hydraulic drive motors underneath.I welded the loader arms approximately 5 years ago-see pics and have put 800 hours on it since then with no issues. The right tilt cylinder is weeping a tiny bit-see pic. It comes with a 78 bucket that is starting to wear through on the bottom.
The track chains probably have about 50% or better life. 2 tires are at 30%, 1 at 40%, and 1at 85%.
I also have a spare tire and rim. It has a newer quick attach mounting plate. The seat is in good condition. The machine is 78 wide with the track spacers on. Hand and foot controls and has a lap seat belt for a safety switch. The item "New Holland LS180 Skid steer loader with backhoe attachment" is in sale since Thursday, September 14, 2017.
