Skid Steer Tracks 12 x 16.5 tires Loader fits Bobcat New Holland Case JD & more

We offer our tracks under this user name (TractionTracks) and our skid steer mirrors under our other user name of " Reserveless-Auctions "... Please be sure to check out our equipment safety mirrors under that name....

Our tracks will turn your machine into a. No more getting stuck in the mud and your skidsteer will climb almost anything. Our tracks are fit based on tire size so they will fit pretty much any skid steer fitted with the same size tires...

Including but not limited to, Bobcat, Cat, Gehl, Mustang, New Holland, Takeuchi, Case, and many more. IMPORTANT: THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE SET (includes both sides) OF OUR 12 x 16.5 TRACTIONTRACKS for machines with UP to a 51'' wheelbase (Simply measure from FRONT of front tire to FRONT of rear tire). This set fits all standard size 12 tires... If you have Heavy duty or over size 12x16.5 i.

Before attempting to mount tracks to your machine please note that the tracks require approximately 3 inches of clearance between the sidewalls of the tires and the body of the machine (we recommend NO LESS THAN 2 ½). The tracks are designed to flex and reshape to the curve of the tires and will require this space during operation.

If you do not already have at least this amount of clearance (most modern machines already do) then you may be able to flip your rims (dished out) to gain added space. Failure to heed this warning may result in the chains rubbing the body of the machine causing damage to machine and/or tracks. For other sizes , please see our other auctions or send us a message to list the size you need.

We try to describe our tracks in our listings and online with as much detailed as possible, but we know there are always other questions and concerns and we are always MORE THAN HAPPY to answer them. TO SEE VIDEOS OF OUR TRACKS IN ACTION.

TO WATCH OUR INSTALLATION VIDEO: CLICK_HERE. BEST VIDEO YET: WATCH ONE OF OUR CUSTOMER'S OWN VIDEO OF THEM PUTTING THE TRACKS TO WORK & HERE HIS TESTIMONIAL Thank you Dave! Our original Deluxe Skid Steer Tracks have now been upgraded to our. They are now made from an extremely high quality Manganese. 11 aught (7/16) MANGANESE ALLOY SIDE CHAIN. That is specifically designed for use with tires and where.

Extreme wear is a major factor. You must keep in mind that with chain style tracks the chain links are the pivot points for movement around the drive area of the tires, and they are what take the bulk of wear during use. Therefore, the chain must be made from a quality material that is designed for high wear and strength in order to give a long life expectancy.

T is applied to it during the process of welding the cleats to the chain, so it retains its original strength. The use of this Manganese Alloy Grade 80 thru hardened chain results in a MUCH longer lasting set of tracks in comparison, when heat is applied to just a simple case hardened tow or transport chain i. Grade 70, the links to which the cleats are welded can loose their heat treated case hardening and they can actually become soft or brittlethis of course makes for a set of tracks that will constantly stretch and wear out quickly at these weakened points. Also, please keep in mind that Grade 70 chain is a'binder chain' that is only designed for a straight pull.... But our Grade 80 Alloy Chain is designed for use where high wear is major factor.

Use Long Link Side Chain because it is specifically designed for use with tires. In addition the longer link gives a larger area for the welds between the chains and cleats than a standard link chain and therefore allows for. Of weld on both the inside and outside of each contact point between the cleats and the chain. Of extremely deep, strong, stick welding on every cleat. Our cleats are "end welded" to the chains to bring the chains further down the sidewalls of the tires for a more secure fit.

This "end weld" also protects the tires by covering the entire sharp end of the cleats and only allowing the smooth surface of the chains come in contact with the tires' sidewalls. After literally dozens of Demo sets being tested, tried, used and abused we have always found that the most wear and most abuse taken is to the chains and not the cleats. In fact, the cleats get far less wear then one would think. This is due in part to the fact that the leading edge of the cleats is what dig in for traction, therefore, they tend to wear from front to back more than they do from bottom to top.

We have never had nor heard of one of our cleats wearing out. For these reasons our Deluxe Model is made from our new 7/16" (11 aught) Manganese Alloy chain (which actually weighs about 10% less then comparable steel chain) and we couple them to 3/8" thick cleats because we have found using anything heavier than 3/8 cleats only seems to add unnecessary cost and weight. A set of tracks that is affordable for almost any skid steer owner and not only do they.

Still light enough for one person to install and remove by themselves. Something we consider to be an EXTREMELY important point.

Our 10 & 12 inch tracks weigh in at approx. 110 - 120 pounds per side (220 to 240 per set). We also offer this design with a 14 aught (1/2) Alloy Chain, but these are usually far more than almost any skid steer would ever need. In fact, we actually do not even recommend this size unless you have at least a 14 x 17.5 tired machine. The use of our configurations and Manganese Alloy Chain is considered to be such an improvement over previous chains commonly used that we were able to apply this latest design for a new US Patent.

Does all this sound like overkill? But please understand that we not only sell tracks, we use them (and abuse them) with our own skid steers so we know what these so called "little machines" are capable of doing and the situations that we always end up putting them in. Rugged wear resistant Manganese Alloy Chain... 8 full inches of weld per cleat....

We don't think so either. The Difference in being STUCK and being DONE! WE HAVE DONE IT AGAIN.... WE HAVE INCREASED OUR CHAIN FROM 3/8" to 7/16"... MAKING OUR TRACKS EVEN BETTER!!

THE MANGANESE ALLOY SIDE CHAIN THAT WE NORMALLY USED FOR OUR DELUXE TRACKS WAS 9 AUGHT (3/8), HOWEVER, WE HAVE LITERALLY RAN OUR CHAIN SUPPLIERS 0 UT OF ST 0 CK BECAUSE OF THE HIGH VOLUME OF SALES THAT WE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING! DURING THAT TIME THEY PROVIDED US WITH 11 AUGHT. CHAIN TO KEEP US GOING.

WE HAD SUCH A TERRIFIC POSITIVE CUSTOMER RESPONSE ABOUT THE USE OF THE HEAVIER CHAIN THAT WE HAVE DECIDED TO CONTINUE TO ONLY USE 7/16 CHAIN FROM NOW ON. YOUR ALLOY DELUXE TRACKS WILL BE MADE OF 7/16" MANGANESE SIDE CHAIN FOR THE SAME PRICE THAT WE NORMALLY OFFER OUR 3/8"!!

THESE CHAINS ARE EVEN MORE UNBELIEVABLY TOUGH & RUGGED. ALSO, THE FACT THAT THIS IS STILL THE SAME EXACT MANGANESE ALLOY THE WEIGHT INCREASE IS VERY MINIMAL..

THEY STILL WEIGH IN AT UNDER 120 POUNDS PER SIDE!!!!!!! WE BROKE A 42 LONG SET OF BOLT CUTTERS EXPERIMENTING WITH IT AND WE BARELY DENTED THE SURFACE. Would YOU be able to take the strain? In our quest to bring you the highest quality we had a link of our Manganese Alloy 3/8 chain load tested and, believe it or not. It didn't fail until OVER 24,000 pounds of pull.

THAT IS A LOT OF PULL! Add that to the fact that we are now using ONLY 7/16 - which makes our tracks EVEN STRONGER! This just reinforces the TractionTracks Motto... WE are the difference in being stuck....
